Poetry

Written raw as the words flowed through me. That’s the best way I can describe how I bring to you this poetry.

Poem of the month – Oct 2026

Enough

Sometimes I forget I’m breathing
Or I fail to notice my heart beating in my chest,
the blood inside my veins, the knowledge in my brain
and I wonder how I can possibly be depressed
when there is air inside my lungs,
tastebuds on my tongue
and my hair reflects the colour of the sun.
I can walk, or run, or swim
my muscles do their best
my eyes translate these views
with this I am obsessed.
All these little things, plus
my skin is warm to touch
I think that from now on
I will let that be enough.

Why poetry?

Poetry to me is the art of noticing.

It’s a way of giving life to things that are otherwise lifeless. It’s how we give feelings a voice that we all know they deserve, and often rightfully demand.

Generally inspiration strikes at the most inconvenient times, often it starts as just an idea, as I’m on my way home from work or cleaning my room!

Later those idea blossom into what you see on this page.

I hope you like what you read!
